Old Islamic Tombs in Maritime Southeast Asia is the result of selected writings published by EFEO and Association Achipel. The main purpose of this book was published to introduce the results of research on Islamic tombs of the past that has been carried out for the last 20 years. The discovery of old Islamic tombs is evidence of archeological remains that can be linked to the history of the Islamization of the maritime coast in Southeast Asia. The results of the study introduced a type of tombstone from Melaka that has never been noticed before. This book is also the first attempt to contain various traditions of Islamic tombs in Maritime Southeast Asia.
